Cruisin' Thru The Cozies Reading Challenge 2016

Welcome to the sixth annual Cruisin' thru the Cozies Reading Challenge! Six years later and I'm still loving those cozies! I hope you'll join me in this challenge.

To find out exactly what a cozy mystery is, check out Cozy-Mystery.com. This site is dedicated to cozy mysteries and does a great job of defining them as well as giving a list of cozy mysteries. This challenge is NOT restricted to what is on their list, it's just to be used as a guideline in case you need some hints on what to read.

So, here are the rules...

1. Choose the level you wish to participate:

Level 1 - Snoop - Read at least 6 books

Level 2 - Investigator - Read 7-12 books

Level 3 - Super Sleuth - Read 13-20 books

Level 4 - Sleuth Extraordinaire - Read 21 or more books

2. The challenge runs from January 1, 2016 and ends December 31, 2016.

This is my second reading challenge for the year so I think I'll go with level 3 Super Sleuth.

1.If Fried Chicken Could Fly- Paige Shelton
2.If Mashed Potatoes Could Dance- Paige Shelton
3.If Bread Could Rise to the Occasion-Paige Shelton
4.If Catfish Had Nine Lives-Paige Shelton

 2016 Cloak and Dagger Challenge

CDChallengebadge2016
I’m a mystery and crime novel fan so I wanted to do a challenge that incorporated all the different types of mystery and crime type novels. So when the blog that use to do Cloak and Dagger quit this challenge I decided to take it on and tweak it a bit to make it my own. I also asked Barb from Booker T’s Farm to help cohost this one with me.
Rules:
  • You can read any book that is from the mystery/suspense/thriller/crime genres. Any sub-genres are welcome as long as they incorporate one of these genres.
  • You don’t need a blog to participate but you do need a place to post your reviews to link up. (blog, goodreads, booklikes, shelfari, etc.)
  • Make a goal post and link it back here with your goal for this challenge.
  • Books need to be novellas or novels, please no short stories. (At least 100 pages +)
  • Crossovers into other challenges is fine.
  • Challenge will  be from Jan. 1st to Dec. 31st. (Sign up ends April 15th)
There will be a monthly link up so that others can check out your progress and look at your reviews. At the half way mark and the end we will have a giveaway for those participating.
If you tweet about your progress or reviews please use the hashtag #2016CloakDaggerChal so others can see it.
Levels:
1-10 books – Amateur sleuth
11-20 books – Detective
21-30 books – Inspector
